Peiran Zhao is a Chicago-based composer, sound designer, and classically trained violinist whose work seamlessly bridges traditional and contemporary creative realms. She has extensive experience producing music and sound for theater, film, and television, showcasing a keen ability to craft compelling auditory experiences. As a violinist, Peiran has contributed to over 100 professional recording sessions, lending her artistry to a wide range of projects. Her deep appreciation for diverse art forms and evolving aesthetics stems from her interdisciplinary studies and global performances, allowing her to bring a unique perspective and emotional depth to every collaboration.
Gracia Zhao: Drifting through the rifts of cultures, languages, and constitutions of self, Gracie Hart is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter who blends the styles of art pop, indie rock, and dream pop. Rooted in Shanghai yet wandering through the lands of Philadelphia, Oxford, and Chicago, her sound reflects her nomadic spirit and lingers like fleeting whispers of foreign yet familiar memories. Writing in both Chinese and English, she crafts a delicate tapestry of intimate moments and intangible emotions, distilling them into constants to hold onto.

Haotian Wang, a multidisciplinary artist and songwriter from Yunnan, China, crafts music that feels like a passage through layered landscapes—ambient pop, new age, and Chinese folk music flow together seamlessly, with the occasional texture of field recordings and spoken word adding an air of introspection. His work spans across songwriting, sound art, performance, and poetry, integrating diverse cultural influences and his
Hani ethnic identity. His debut album, The Bridge in The Mountain’s Hands (A Travelog), involves a blend of Chinese folk music, ambient, and spoken-word poetry, earning him a spot in Bandcamp’s & “New and Notable”; in August 2022. In his live performances, which have taken place at venues including Chicago’s CLEAT series and Leesta Vall’s Direct-to-Vinyl sessions, he has continued to refine this unique voice while exploring shared connections between city and nature, Eastern and Western philosophies.
